Prof.MUKESHIMANA Michele

A PhD holder in Computer Sciences and Technologies with specialization in Machine Learning, pattern recognition from University of Science and Technologies Beijing in January 2018. She obtained her Master Degree in Computer Application from Jiangnan University in March 2010 and a Bachelor degree in Computer Science and Technology from Beijing Jiaotong University in July 2006. She served as IT Engineer in “Office National des Télécommunications “(ONATEL Burundi) from 2007 to 2012.In July 2012,she is a lecturer and Researcher at University of Burundi up to now. My research interest includes Artificial Intelligence, especially Machine Learning and Pattern Recognition: image, sound and text; Multimedia Technology and Web programming

Kelly Joelle GATORE SINIGIRIRA

Kelly Joelle GATORE SINIGIRIRA

Kelly Joelle GATORE SINIGIRIRA is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Burundi. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, with a research focus on the mathematical modeling of infectious diseases. Her work emphasizes the impact of climate change on disease dynamics and targets vulnerable populations, particularly pregnant women. Dr. Gatore Sinigirira also explores the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data-driven methods to enhance disease modeling, surveillance, and prediction. In addition to malaria, her research covers emerging and re-emerging diseases such as Mpox and Measles, contributing to interdisciplinary efforts in global health and epidemiological forecasting.

Eraste NDUWAYO

Eraste NDUWAYO is an innovative engineer specialized in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and network & telecom engineering. Holder of a Master’s degree in Software Engineering, he combines solid academic training with uhands-on experience in intelligent systems design, embedded development (Arduino, Raspberry Pi), and programming (Python, C++, JavaScript). He has led strategic IoT projects as Deputy Head of the IoT Department at MEDIABOX_Burundi, and is a certified drone pilot with skills in remote sensing. As Vice President of ISOC Burundi, he actively contributes to Internet governance and digital innovation. Dual AI-certified, he is passionate about creating impactful, tech-driven solutions.
