The IndabaX Central Steering Committee is thrilled to announce the launch of the IndabaX Webinar Series 2024. This series is part of a transformative initiative designed to educate, inspire, and empower an African audience with the knowledge and tools needed to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) effectively. With a robust line-up of topics and expert speakers, this series promises to bridge knowledge gaps and foster a community of AI enthusiasts and professionals across the continent.

Why a Webinar Series?

AI holds vast potential for driving innovation, economic growth, and social progress across various sectors. However, the understanding and application of AI remain uneven, with significant knowledge gaps existing across different regions and professional fields. The IndabaX Webinar Series aims to demystify AI, making it accessible and actionable for a diverse audience that includes students, professionals, and entrepreneurs across fields like technology, business, healthcare, and agriculture, to name a few.

What to Expect

The series will cover an array of topics suitable for all levels—from beginners to advanced. Sessions will range from introductory overviews of AI and Machine Learning, to specialised topics like AI in everyday life, Data Science, AI Ethics, and the role of AI in business and entrepreneurship. Webinar structure will differ based on the topic but most will also include hands-on and practical sessions, encouraging participation and enhancing the learning experience.

Understanding the diverse needs of our audience, the webinars will be hosted on Zoom, ensuring easy access for all participants. Recordings of each session will also be accessible post-event, allowing for flexible learning schedules.
