In 2024, The Deep Learning Indaba will be held in Dakar, Senegal from the 1st to the 7th of September at Amadou Mahtar Mbow university (UAM).
The theme for this edition is “Xam Xamlé”
The term is Wolof and means ‘To gain knowledge and share it’. It is inspired by the lives and work of renowned Senegalese novelist and historian Mariama Bâ and Cheikh Anta Diop. The Deep Learning Indaba was born from this principle and continues to shine the light for you to do the same. As we, at the Deep Learning Indaba, continue to grow and expand and invite new models of leadership, we invite you to do the same, to invest in yourself and your communities, to trust in your abilities and to not hesitate when called upon to share.

Applications to attend the Deep Learning Indaba 2024 are now closed.
