Dr.MUKESHIMANA Michele

A PhD holder in Computer Sciences and Technologies with specialization in Machine Learning, pattern recognition from University of Science and Technologies Beijing in January 2018. Research interest includes Artificial Intelligence, especially Machine Learning and Pattern Recognition: image, sound and text; Multimedia Technology and Web programming

Aïmérou NDIAYE

Aïmérou NDIAYE

Aïmérou Ndiaye is a research engineer at Baamtu, a company specializing in data enhancement in Senegal. He is also a doctoral student in artificial intelligence at Gaston Berger University, where he is working on deep learning techniques applied to audio and video deepfakes for African languages.

Dr. Moez Ben Hajhmida

Dr. Moez Ben Hajhmida

Dr. Moez Ben Hajhmida is renowned for his groundbreaking contributions to natural language processing and artificial intelligence for under-represented languages. With a doctoral degree from the University Tunis El Manar, Tunisia, Dr. Ben Hajhmida currently serves as an associate professor at the esteemed National Engineering School of Tunis (ENIT), where he enlightens students on the intricacies of Big Data, AI, and beyond.

Dr. Hatem Haddad

Dr. Hatem Haddad

Dr. Hatem Haddad received a doctorate in Computer Science and Information Systems from University Grenoble Alpes, France. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at VTT Technical Research Center of Finland and at Norwegian University of Science and Technology. He occupied assistant professor positions at Grenoble Alpes university (France), at UAEU (EAU), at Sousse university (Tunisia), at Mevlana university (Turkey) and at ULB (Belgium). He worked for industrial corporations in R&D at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland and Institute for Infocomm Research, Image Processing and Applications Lab of Singapore. His current research interests include Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning and Deep Learning. He is a Program Chair in various global conferences and serves as a reviewer for relevant journals and conferences in the Artificial Intelligence field. He is a board member of Masakhane and WiNLP (Widening NLP).

Doreen Nixdorf

Doreen Nixdorf

Currently, Doreen Nixdorf is pursuing her third profession, studying computer science with aspirations to become a computer scientist by 2026. This diverse career trajectory is a testament to her adaptability and thirst for knowledge.

Dr.Thierry Nsabimana

Dr.Thierry Nsabimana

He holds a PhD in Information and Communications Technology (ICT), specializing in Information Systems Security, from the University of Abomey-Calavi. He is a full senior assistant professor at the University of Burundi and also serves as the Vice Dean of the Institute of Applied Statistics at the University of Burundi. His areas of interest include Data Warehousing, Data Mining, the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Big Data Analytics, Fog/Edge/Cloud Computing Security, Artificial Neural Networks, Cyber Security, and Ethical Hacking.

Ngenzirabona Emmanuel

Ngenzirabona Emmanuel

Emmanuel is a PhD student at the University of Burundi, focusing his research on Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security for Aviation. In addition to his academic pursuits, he serves as the ICT Manager at the Burundi Civil Aviation Authority, where he plays a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing the technological infrastructure and security measures. Currently, Emmanuel conducts his research at CRIET LAB (Centre de Recherche en Infrastructures, Environnements et Technologies) within the Faculty of Engineering Science. His work is pivotal in advancing the fields of AI and cyber security, particularly in their applications to aviation. Additionally, he shares his knowledge as a part-time lecturer.
