It is an Indaba tradition that we have two fun evening events to celebrate the opening and closing events. This page gives details of the travel arrangements for this years parties.
Opening Event at Windsor Country Club, 25 August
Our opening event takes place at Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club. Windsor gives us the best opportunity to meet each other for the first time, to make new friends and to get ready for the week ahead. We provide buses between KU and Windsor. See the Indaba map for the pick-up and drop-off point at KU.
If you miss the buses you’ll have to find and pay for alternative means. If you wish to leave the events early, you are free to do so, but you’ll be responsible for your own travel. Buses will not make stops at locations other than KU and Windsor.

Closing Event at Safari Park Hotel, 30 August
Our opening event takes place at Safari Park Hotel, which is our opportunity to relax and have fun after a tiring and energetic week Strengthening African Machine Learning. Everyone will leave the next day, so our last chance to dance, take pictures, and spend time together. We provide buses between KU and Safari Park. See the Indaba map for the pick-up and drop-off point at KU.
